Prints are made to order, meticulously printed, hand cut, and shipped from my studio in Maine. Each print is enveloped in archival paper, encased in a transparent fine art slip, backed by a thick board, and mailed in a sturdy flat-mailer or rolled in a sturdy tube, depending on size.

Original oil paintings require time to properly cure. I will not ship a painting before it's ready for safe packaging. New releases are generally ready to ship within 4-6 weeks of purchase, while older pieces can be shipped within 1-2 weeks. I do my best to get originals prepped and mailed out as soon as possible!

Yes, I ship to many different countries. If you don’t see your country, please contact me prior to purchasing. 

International shipping costs are based on package weight and distance. A flat shipping rate is set at checkout — any difference will be invoiced or refunded after your order is placed. Additional border fees, duties, and handling charges are the buyer's responsibility.

All sales are final. While I do not accept returns, I want you to be pleased with your purchase! Please let me know if there is any way I can help you by contacting me within 3 days of receiving your order.

Please contact me within 24 hours of placing your order if you need to change, update, or cancel your print order. All prints are made-to-order and go into production after 24 hours.

Each order is packaged thoughtfully and thoroughly before it leaves the studio. In the rare event that a package is lost or damaged, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your order and I will do what I can to help you handle the situation.

All rights to the artwork, including the right to make reproductions, are held exclusively by Mel Volkman. These rights remain with the artist even after purchase. The collector is strictly prohibited from reproducing or distributing the artwork in any form.
